Speaking of vintage, this early 1980s Tom Ritchey bike was also participating in the ride. For those who don't already know, Tom Ritchey was the first in history to make purpose-built mountain bikes in partnership with Gary Fisher and Charlie Kelley. These three names are among the best known from the earliest pioneering days of mountain biking in Marin County in the 1970s.
